Birds have been known as symbol of freedom for a long time. However, because of their ability to fly, we find them enigmatic and unreachable. Luckily, There are many ways to explore these feathered animals in their natural environment without fear or harm.
Lisa, who calls herself Ostdrossel on social networks, has always been bewitched by those birds, and after getting married and leaving her native Germany for Michigan, she wanted to know about the birds in her new environment better. She started to find a way for how to make this possible, and as a result, she has collected thousands of images with different and beautiful bird species, their poses, their funny faces and sometimes strange behavior.
Trying out different foods to attract their attention, and set up a camera trap to help her implement her idea. She uses a Bird Photo Booth 2.0, which consists of a camera in a box, a macro lens and a clip-on feeder. He uses a tiny camera equipped with a motion sensor, and when the bird comes to eat, it is photographed in a non-intrusive way. Her afternoon routine is to examine photos taken during the day, sometimes up to 7000. Every day there is a photo session in her garden, no matter what the weather is like. The birds come regularly to Lisa’s garden, some so often that you recognize them in the photo gallery, and you even notice their personality. From playful pigeons to sad tiles, enjoy these beautiful birds up close.
